So I haven't written in this as much as I thought I would have. For the most part I live a relativly boring life. I went and saw Yes Man last night at the movies. I must say, it was very good, better than I expected. I really don't like Jim Carey but he wasn't over the top silly like normal and I quite enjoyed the movie. I mostly just needed to get out of the house and get a good laugh. So today is New Year's Eve. I may be going over to Kelby's just to chill. I hope so, I'm very tired of being at home all the time.
Okay, so really random funny story. Yesterday my mom and I went to Dobson. We had to go to the cable office and get a new cable box because we got a new HDTV for Christmas and our old cable box doesn't support HD. So we went to McDonald's for lunch. While we were eating a woman and her very small children, a boy and a girl, came in. She ordered them happy meals. Well while they were waiting the boy, who was older than his sister, was showin the girl what they were getting in their happy meals in the toy display. Right now they are doing a seperate toy for boys and girls. The boy toy was a transformer I believe and the girl toy is a My Little Pony. So anyway they get their food, go sit down and I suppose start to eat. I can't see over to where they are. Well we here this little boy exclaim in a very loud "grown up" voice "I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY GAVE ME A STUPID HORSE!!" I don't know, its not as funny when written, but it was very funny when we were in there. So once again, a you had to be there story, my specialty.
Well I'm going to get off of here. Maybe something fun will happen and I can tell you about it.

Christmas

So Christmas was yesterday. I got a freaking sweet new laptop! Its a Dell, Inspiron. I really like it a lot and i've had tons of fun playing with the web cam haha. There isn't a whole lot going on here. To be quite honest I am so incredibly bored it is absolutly ridiculous. I want to do something fun. I went with mom and dad Tuesday night to see the High Country Lights. They are really cool. They are connected with a radio station and blink with the music. The entire program is about an hour long and we watched all of it. I think I want to go back with some friends, but I doubt it happens. Well there just really isnt anything going on here. So I think I'm going to jet. Happy New Year!

Rainy Rainy Day
Rainy winter days are by far the worst days ever. I love color and warmness and things brimming with life...quite the opposite of days like today. Everywhere I look I see coldness, gray, dead. It is quite depressing. However on a less sentimental/depressing note, senior play tryouts were today and yesterday. I didn't get to go yesterday, so I will go today. I don't plan on getting a large part seeing as I am tone deaf and the play is a musical, but still I LOVE being in plays. I am currently finishing up "Our Town", the last performance is Saturday. Although I have to admit it is the most boring play I have ever been a part of, my role of Rebecca is also the smallest I have ever had, but still, I love being in plays.
We are lifting weights in soccer today, I love doing that. It's becoming quite the addiction, although I am still pretty weak. OOh! And after that I am going to McDonald's with some friends to see Ronald McDonald. Yeah I know really dumb, but in a town as small as our that's some pretty big news!
Really though, not a whole lot going on here. Tommorow night Kelby and I are going to see the North Carolina Symphony. They are coming to Wilkesboro to the John A. Walker Center. A very kind lady at my church gave me two tickets! It was quite exciting, I've always wanted to go. I can't wait!
Well that's enough of the boring details of my life. Maybe I'll catch later when something more exciting has happened.

First Post?
Soo this it, I hopped on the band wagon. I started a blog. Why? I lead a pretty boring life, and I have no idea why anyone would want to read about my life, unless they are incredibly nosy...which I wouldn't put past a few people. No, mostly I just get really bored and feel the urge to talk about things that I do, not that I do a lot. I usually type these things up, print them off as a nice little note to give to Kelby. Except they rarely get to her until months after they are written, and by that point they are quite irrelevant. So I will post them on this blog, pretending that someone somewhere is reading it.
So should I start my blog with an about me, or should I go straight into telling you all about details in my life? I really don't know how this works. I suppose the first and most important thing to know about me is my faith. I'm a christian and am a strong believer in God. I am always striving to better my relationship with him, even though I feel like a fail pretty often. If it's important to you I'm southern baptist, but I don't think it really matters, all that matters is your relationship with Christ. Now that that's out of the way lets see, I'm still in high school, thats a start. I'm a senior this year. I'm praying and hoping that I will be a Teaching Fellow at Appalachin State next year. You know, going through the Teaching Fellows program can be quite stressful, always waiting to hear from some board or committe, knowing that their descision decides if I will be able to go to college or not. Yes definatly stressful. I went through my first interview about 2 months ago, very stressful, very scary. I wont hear the results for about another month. I hate waiting. Oh yes, I was telling you about myself. Lets see...I have this huge fettish for Vera Bradley, I looovvve everything Vera. I just got a new bag yesterday at Salem Creek in Winston =D There really isn't a whole lot to know about me. I live in the smallest town ever, but unlike most young people that live here, I really do love it. I am very well suited for small town life. I go to school in town, but I live in the country, it is absolutly beautiful. I can't think of a better place to live, honestly. Right now I'm going to pre season conditioning for the Lady Elk's Soccer Team. I used to hate excercising, but now I'm right on the verge of being addicted to it. Not that I'm a health freak or anything, I just enjoy being active. Oh yes, another thing about me, I pretty much stay over commited and over extended. I'm a very busy person. I realize that I am typing one huge unrelated paragraph, with terrible grammer, but I don't know how else to get everything out.
I think that's enough for now. Maybe more later?
